Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos Review

Seriously, why aren’t all games this good!!! This is by far one of the best of the year! If you’re a gamer and have never heard of the WarCraft series (god forbid) you better crawl out of that cave your in and read this.

WarCraft is a game that puts YOU in charge of creating a grand army. You start out with a couple of peasants (workers) and a town hall, from there you command them to mine gold and chop lumber (for building things obviously!). Gold, lumber, and food are your building blocks of WarCraft, you get food from building farms (the more farms you build the more people you can support). Then once you get enough food, gold, and lumber you can build a barracks. A barracks trains your main army which contains such militia as Footman, Riflemen, Knights, and so on. With more gold and more lumber you can build the rest of your army through different buildings and upgrades like The Arcane Sanctum, Blacksmith, Workshop, Lumber Mill, and many many others!

One of the new features that I really enjoyed about WarCraft III is you don’t have to just worry about your enemy’s anymore. There are randomly scattered creatures in each of the maps called “creeps” and they are assorted, very well modeled and imagined monsters that attack you and some times even guard precious resources and treasures.

I think Warcraft is so awesome because you can chose from different races in the first two it was just Orcs and Humans, there are some new ones in this third installment of WarCraft! The races in WC III are The Orcish Horde, The Human Alliance, The Undead Scourge, and The Night Elf Sentinels! This makes for a massively exciting single player campaign not to mention some of the funnest multiplayer. I haven’t played a multiplayer RTS in ages!

Here’s my Final Verdict. If you like the WarCraft series but haven’t got around to getting number 3, go buy it! BUT if you hate fantasy/knights in shining armor/dragons/blood/swords/spells/and big strong green guys, then this might not be the game for a dummy like you! Read more about it, Get some cash, Get in your car, Drive to your closest video game store and BUY this game!
