Unreal Tournament 2003 Review

*Picks up drooling mouth* Man oh man! Unreal Tournament 2003 is one AMAZING game, I pre-ordered this game about 3 weeks before it was shipped and hit stores and I am extremely happy with what in my opinion is going to be the best action game of the year!

As you may or may not know Unreal Tournament (the original) came out in 1999 and was a major success and still is enjoyed by gamers all over the world, Unreal Tournament 2003 (UT2003) is now the next step up, actually it’s an entire world up. There are SO many things to talk about and enjoy in UT2003 first of all there are 5 major types of gameplay they are; Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, Capture The Flag, Domination 2.0, and Bombing Run, now within each of these game modes are tons of other features you are able to tweak and adjust to make sure your fraggin experience is that much better!

There are lots of out of this world guns and equipment like: The Lightning gun, Ion Painter, Bio-Rifle, and the world famous Flak Cannon, to name a few! UT2003 has the similar gameplay and high-speed action that the original Unreal Tournament had, except like I said earlier this game is mind-blowingly more amazing than its older brother!

The mapping and atmosphere’s of this game are so spectacular that I start forgetting about the real world around me, not like there’s anything wrong with that, its just that these maps are FRICKEN AWSOME BEYOND BELIEF!!! And the lasting appeal this game has to offer is just great, I mean think about all the mods, after-market maps, and mutators that the original UT had, and now multiply that times 10!

But the down side to this amazing game is; that if you don’t have a pretty hefty machine and at least a low end GeForce 3 its going to be tough to handle the power this game has to offer. So go buy this game, don’t second guess my power of reviewing, I am seriously urging you to get this game (If you meet the requirements of course) and if your 17 or older, the characters in the game have potty mouths so don’t let your younger siblings or kids sit in front of this game for to long. The Single Player Campaign Tournament is very fun, it’s really in-depth and enjoying.

You get to create a team that you use to fight the other teams, you can even trade players, you might be saying “Pun why not keep the players you got from the start”, well each player and team have different capabilities and skill percents, for instance lets say; PunisheR2404 has 100% Accuracy, 100% Aggression and so on, and Llama has 24% Accuracy, 76% Aggression and so on, Your going to take me in a second. That’s the fun and glory of trading players and upgrading your team! So in short: go buy this game, Enjoy this game, and Come FRAG with me when you get it!
