I’m not ready to pen this in the books as fact yet but there’s a BashandSlash podcast where community manager Rob Bowling stated that there is no delay but there will be no dedicated server support or mods for the PC version of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2." If this is true, it is a major setback for PC gamers.
Here’s the full rundown of highlights from the podcast, which is from PlanetCallofDuty:

They're replacing it with IW.net, which is Infinity Ward's matching system. From the podcast, it sounds like it's just like the Xbox matching system.

I just got a very bad taste in my mouth. COD has a rich mod community for the pc user. No way am I spending $60 on this game if multiplayer suffers.
