story up that the May issue of PC Gamer carries the exclusive announcement of "Battlefield 2142," along with a trailer to confirm it on the cover cd. Follow the link above to find the trailer.
The year is 2142 and a new ice age has frozen over the Earth. As you view the trailer it looks as if there will now be controllable mechs along with the rest of the standard but futuristic vehicles, weapons, and gadgets - including a cloaking suit for the soldiers.
Transcript from the video: "The 22nd century was to be a golden age. We never expected the ice...it spread everywhere. Nations fought over the last remaining land. I remember this... the chaos, the fear... they had no choice... the battle for Earth had begun."
