Codemasters has released a new trailer for "GRID," which features interviews with pro racers Stuart Hall and Felipe Ortez about the Le Mans 24-hour race.

"In order to deliver the most intense and authentic Le Mans experience, Codemasters consulted with the only people to have that knowledge - pro racers.  The latest video from GRID pairs stunning gameplay footage from the in-game race with interviews with pro drivers Stuart Hall and Felipe Ortez from Creation AIM Le Mans to officially debut the Le Mans.

Held annually at the Circuit De La Sarthe, the 24 Hours of Le Mans is one of the oldest and most famous races in the world.  A sports car endurance race, it tests a car and driver's ability to be quick, and also assesses a car's ability to last over a 24-hour period.  The Le Mans 24 Hours race is condensed into a remarkable 24 minute event in GRID that captures the unique atmosphere and challenge of racing the 8 mile track, including its distinctive use of local roads full day/ night cycle and the infamous 200+ M.P.H. Mulsanne straight.   In addition to the condensed experience, in free mode gamers will also have the option to race Le Mans the way it was intended- for 24 hours.

GRID is an all-new race experience, taking players on a world tour of intricately designed racetracks and courses through Europe, the US and Japan.  In addition to the exciting, ready-to-race gameplay that gamers have come to expect from Codemasters' racing titles, GRID also features the most powerful race cars - new and classic,  circuit and drift.  The upcoming game combines officia  circuit challenges and drifting events with road races and urban street competitions around the globe, including the most extensive range of courses in a Codemasters title to date.

GRID is set to release on June 3, 2008 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, Games for Windows®, and Nintendo DS(TM).  GRID is rated "E" (Everyone) by the ESRB."
