Blue Orb has announced support for three new games for its technology that allows gamers to play PC games with an Xbox 360 controller. The new games include "Call of Duty 4," "Call of Duty 2," and "Counter-Strike: Source."
"Since first-person shooters on PC are traditionally played with a mouse and keyboard, many developers opt not to include controller support – or included it with very limited capabilities. But since many enthusiast gamers have chosen the Xbox 360(TM) to get their shooting kicks this generation, PC gamers who want to brush up on their controller shooting skills now have options– as do gamers who simply prefer the console controller style.
"Since SwitchBlade was such a resounding success in the MMO sphere, we decided to take the next logical step, and tackle the PC's definitive genre – the shooter," said Aaron Levin, Vice President of Business Development at Blue Orb. "We took our first leap with our Half-Life 2 Blade a month ago, and now we're supporting one of the most popular titles out there with Call of Duty 4."
