DreamCatcher to Publish Loki

DreamCatcher Games has announced that it will be publishing "Loki: Heroes of Mythology," the action role-playing game by Cyanide Studios, in North America. The game is scheduled to be released on September 28th.

"Loki: Heroes of Mythology will have players taking on the role of one of four great mythological heroes as they confront hordes of evil minions, battle against great mythological beasts and defy the gods in an adventure bristling with rage.

Egyptian God, Seth, once condemned to a sealed tomb for his evil and malice ways, has escaped to release a fury of pent up revenge onto the Norse, Greek, Aztec and Egyptian worlds. You have been chosen by the other gods to help bring order back. Play as a mighty Norse Warrior, a fierce Greek Fighter, a powerful Egyptian Sorcerer or a mystical Aztec Shaman in your quest, traveling through vast territories in fierce battle against hundreds of legendary and deadly enemies. Prepare yourself for fast-paced, action-packed gameplay where it is up to you to conquer all four worlds and put Seth back where he belongs. “We think that both RPG and action fans are really going to like the frenzied action of this game built into an impressive storyline,” said Byron Gaum, Senior Project Manager at DreamCatcher Games. “Players will find loads of gameplay within Loki’s solo, co-op and multiplayer game modes!”

Features:
  • Endless possibilities – Experience your adventure as one of four different mythological heroes each with distinct strengths and combat styles. Worship different gods in order to gain access to more than 200 different skills. A powerful random level generator ensures that you never experience the same game twice.
  • Create your legend your way – Embark upon your quests solo or with your friends as part of a group. Challenge others in PvP mode inside a dedicated online arena or dice with death by taking part in one of the online challenges.
  • Collect and exchange thousands of items, including 500 unique objects, such as Thor's Hammer and Achilles' Armor. Customize your weapons and armor by visiting the blacksmith's forge. Disassemble and rebuild weapons with new attributes and increase their magical powers with runes.
Loki: Heroes of Mythology is developed by Cyanide and will sell for a suggested retail price of $39.99 USD."
