Sword of the Stars Coming to Gamer's Gate

Gamer's Gate has announced that it has signed an agreement with Lighthouse Interactive to bring real-time strategy game "Sword of the Stars" to their digital distribution website.

"Sword of the Stars: Born of Blood is the expansion pack to the award-winning 4x space game Sword of the Stars and is loaded with extra content to take the gamers deeper into space.

Strategy gamers and Sword of the Stars fans will find many new features to get excited about, for instance:
  • 1 entirely new race - the Zuul - with 80+ ship sections and Tunnel Drive FTL technology.
  • New weapons and additional technologies to build
  • New diplomatic Data and Communications systems. Make demands! Ask for help in attacking specific targets. Warn players off from the worlds you have yet to claim!
  • Detailed combat results and status graphs allow players to track the rise or fall of their empire over time.
  • 2 new Scenarios (for both single- and multiplayer) and 5 new galaxy types.

In addition to the add-on, Lighthouse Interactive will feature several of their popular titles on Gamer's Gate. Ship Simulator 2008 and the Delaware St: John series are a few examples of the quality portfolio added."
