HyperKat Games has announced the release of "ScudBuster" version 3.0.

"ScudBuster is a missile battle arcade game, featuring outstanding special effects, a variety of battle environments, but with a bit of strategy overlaid. Fight a war, fight a battle, or play against your friends on a network. Player information is persistent and statistical data is provided on an individual basis. The user interface features radar tracking, using the mouse to target and shoot down incoming threats, toggling to a SSM targeting system for offense, reconnaissance deployment and unit health. Options allow you to customize the game to your preference.
 
Setup your battlefield consisting of three "Surface to Surface" missile launchers (SSM), a "Surface to Air" missile launcher (SAM), a radar system and command bunker. Commanding from the deck of your SAM launcher, opponents fire missiles at each other until all 3 SSM launchers or the command bunker is destroyed. Protect your equipment using the SAM launcher and keep pounding your enemy with SSMs to keep him busy. Three unique enemies represent easy, medium and hard modes. Send a forward observer for intelligence on battlefield layout and deploy new warheads that change the way you approach the battle. Work up through the ranks while earning battle ribbons, based on your skill and statistical game play. You must win the war and get all the battle ribbons to be promoted to General. Only the strategic and skilled players will make General rank unlocking a special battlefield scenario. Hang onto your medals and your helmet, because the gauntlets really come off on this one.
