Defcon Now Available, Demo Released

Introversion has launched "Defcon" through Steam and has also released a demo, giving players a chance to try out the anticipated strategy game.

"Available now for just $14.95, DEFCON is an online, competitive, multiplayer strategy game based around the theme of global thermonuclear war. The player assumes the role of a General hidden deep within an underground bunker, his mission being to successfully exterminate the enemy's civilian population whilst simultaneously disabling the enemy's ability to retaliate."

The 58MB demo can be downloaded via Steam, 3dgamers, FileFront, FileShack, VGPro, or Worthplaying.
