Wired TV, produced by Sharlene Pereira, is a station based in LA that has broadcast a couple of the 2404 Films in its regular line up of independent, student, and foreign films! DVDs containing the season’s films are also distributed worldwide and it is great to see that our work is being spread around.
In this clip, you can see a highlight from The Agenda which shows Matt walking down a hallway at the High School.

Starting the year off early, two new films have been added: The Underground, and GReY.
GReY follows a young woman around through her normal daily routine but on this particular day something happens that will change her unscrupulous attitude.
The Underground is a documentary on five Iowa State University students who are more than proficient in their computer skills. A plot is contrived to take down a vicious group of madmen… will they succeed?
The films have been added to the 2006 Films page and are available to download there.

We had an excellent time in Toronto and want to thank the people behind the festival for putting on the event. The list of results can be found at http://www.youngcuts.com/~demo/2005-awards/.
Our films were nominated in the following categories:
Best Foreign Film: The Agenda
Best Film: 19 and Under: The Agenda
Best Actor in a Leading Role: The Agenda - Matt Boyer
Unfortunately we didn’t win any of the categories we were nominated for but still greatly enjoyed partaking in the festival. We were told that our Pepsi commercial wasn’t considered most likely because the BMW logo was briefly shown. We also suspect that Assasination: La Vendetta wasn’t nominated because of the violence and fake firearms in it.
Anders will begin shooting a new film shortly in preparation for the next YoungCuts festival.

It turns out the International Teem Movie Festival has undergone some business changes, is under new ownership, and is now called “Young Cuts Film Festival” - YoungCuts.com which will be taking place on October 24-30th of this year. Assassination La Vendetta is still an entry in this festival and we look forward to its outcome.

Sorry about the downtime, we switched hosts and we have been busy with other things. We’re patiently waiting for the International Teen Movie Festival to take place in Canada. It has currently been delayed several times and we’re hoping it will happen soon.
